What I Do
I work with clients whose self-talk is sabotaging their aspirations or sucking the joy out of their life. Maybe Imposter syndrome causes them to work longer and harder, but despite great achievements, they still fear being rumbled as a fraud. Or perhaps the fear of public speaking or talking in meetings leaves them sleep-deprived or sick to the pit, or even quitting a job they love. Using a blend of hypnosis and other talking therapies, I help you to stop running your old script so that you can give fear the red card and reconnect with your brilliance.
I provide a friendly, non-judgemental environment so you will feel safe working with me to overcome your issue; You will know I have your back. I don’t want to take your money to just listen and nod for weeks, months, or years; hopefully, you have got friends or family for tea and sympathy. Yes, I’ll provide tea (Yorkshire of course) and I’ll listen and ask you questions so that I can notice negative patterns, unhelpful beliefs and get a sense of where we need to do the work.
My role is one of facilitator, not fixer; you will be making the changes and experiencing the shifts. I believe that you have the necessary solutions and resources within you; I’ll be helping you to discover or recover them. I’ll help you to get your mojo back. And that’s not all. You’ll learn techniques from me that you can use in the future if or when you need them.
